Development Funds

The activities that are financed by Turkey’s national funds are in line with Turkey’s development goals and 2020 strategies. The financial support is given to the academia, private sector and the non-governmental organizations including but not limited to chambers.

IDEMA and its strategic partners benefit from these national funds to cultivate novel projects to remove the challenges beyond the development of Turkey.

As a procurator of World Bank, IDEMA uses its expertise to develop sustainable and innovative projects on impact quantification and assessment, natural disasters, urbanization, humanitarian aid, migration, refugees, governing, social responsibility and local governance to support Turkey’s vision of becoming a regional and global actor.

In order to provide financial support for the integration process to the union, the European Union provides funds to the candidate countries such as Turkey and Western Balkan Countries to be used in aligning with the community acquis and  membership criterion.
The priorities of assistance under IPA (Instrument for Pre-Accession) listed in the Indicative Strategy paper for Turkey (2014-2020) that IDEMA aims to be a key actor both in Turkey and in Balkans are as follows:

IDEMA focuses on developing projects with its internal and external experts under the framework of other EU funds such as Horizon 2020 (former EU Funding Programme for Research and Innovation), Structural Funds and Cohesion Fund.

Within the framework of Horizon 2020, IDEMA offers pre-evaluation support to the potential proposers and training programs to leverage the critical mass. Furthermore, IDEMA aspires to participate in the Horizon 2020 Program to contribute to the projects focusing on its thematic priorities.

Since 2011, IDEMA has been participating in projects of international organizations including but not limited to World Bank, United Nations, International Labour Organization and international humanitarian aid organizations to support development needs of the developing world.

As a vendor of the World Bank, IDEMA develops projects with its strategic partners and takes an active role in the implementation of these projects. With its experts on areas such as natural disasters, cities, local and regional development, IDEMA takes a critical part in such projects.

IDEMA has the vision of actualizing International Development Agenda by generating innovative solutions to local and global challenges. In order to do so, IDEMA has already prepared reports such as ‘Reporting of Societal Involvement to Electricity Usage’ for World Bank and ‘Social Impact of Corporate Social Responsibility in Textile Sector’ for International Labour Organization with its internal and external experts.

TÜBİTAK, the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, gives support on a national level to enhance the competence and research capacity of the industry and the academia. TÜBİTAK funds private, public and academic partnerships, as well as projects that target to enhance Turkey’s Research, Development and Innovation capacity and that, have a strong impact on the market.

IDEMA offers to consult its partners interested in TÜBİTAK funds that are related to the science, technology and innovation capacity building, areas that are an integral part of the national development.

IDEMA also paves the way for the companies to develop bilateral cooperation projects with their stakeholders in Europe and in the third countries. IDEMA offers consultancy to the companies and directs the prospective project proposers to the international project groups and TÜBİTAK support programs. Moreover, IDEMA gives pre-evaluation support on Horizon 2020 through its experts.

IDEMA offers consulting service on national and international project development, management and evaluation to its customers from academia, institutes, private sector, chambers and civil society organizations.

IDEMA also contributes to content development processes of the projects. The consultancy services provided by IDEMA includes but not limited to the following funds and grants:
